Glede Knowe is a large modern house set in an acre of quiet landscaped gardens.  Named after a local hill above the Leithen Valley 'Glede Knowe' means 'Hawk Hill'.  Established as a guest house in 2007 and now graded Four Star Gold reflecting our exemplary customer care, we offer flexible quiet, comfortable and welcoming accommodation, great fresh cooked Scottish or continental breakfasts and superb service and attention to detail.  Our seven rooms are spacious and furnished to the highest of standards  and most are south facing with great views.    We have excellent facilities for cyclists, mountain bikers, walkers, fishers and golfers with secure attached garage, racking for 12 bikes, drying area, power washer, maintenance space and laundry facilities.  Glede Knowe is also an ideal centre for touring the Border castles, museums and gardens or a visit to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
