What better way to get to know the towns and villages of the Tweed Valley than by visiting their museums.
The Tweeddale Museum & Gallery in Peebles offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of the town, while The John Buchan Story reveals all about one of the area’s most famous figures. Elsewhere, in nearby Innerleithen, you can try your hand at letter printing at Robert Smail's Printing Works, or visit the delightful St Ronan's Wells Visitor Centre to discover the secrets of Innerleithen’s history as an important spa destination. The gardens are lovely too, with fabulous views over the surrounding hills.
