Cringletie House Hotel
Edinburgh Road |
A Tranquil Gem In Tweeddale! So close to Edinburgh, yet so far away from the daily hustle and bustle.
Cringletie House in its castle look appearance is a traditional Scottish Baronial Mansion. It has been awarded four red stars by the AA which means excellence all round! It is surrounded by gardens and woodlands where guests can wander round to their hearts' content.
The 400 years old walled garden with the Victorian greenhouse is a marvel. Flowers, vegetables, fruits are all grown here and the harvested produce finds its way to the kitchen where head chef Craig Gibb applies his culinary skills! The results are stunning and delicious.
Guests are able to enjoy traditional afternoon tea in any one of the sitting rooms.
Cringletie is fully accessible and is therefore able to cater for guests who have mobility problems. Also guests with impaired hearing will find that Cringletie is a good and safe destination.
With 12 bedrooms and 1 suite guests can be assured of a personal and discreet service. No wonder that Cringletie was winner in the Borders Touch Awards 2006 in the category Best Hospitality!
With the river Tweed practically on our doorstep, Cringletie is the perfect location from where to explore beautiful Tweeddale. See elsewhere on this website for ideas how to spend your time!
