Whitmuir The Organic Place

Welcome to Whitmuir – a working, family farm, just 16 miles south of central Edinburgh. As well as rearing our own beef, lamb, pork and turkey, we grow salad leaves and vegetables and keep hens for eggs. All our meat is butchered in our on-farm butchery and you can enjoy all the produce at our farm cafe, shop, or via home delivery service.

We are one of the best organic shops in the UK – voted Best UK Organic Retailer in 2011 and Runner Up in 2013. A recent EU delegation recently said we were one of the most amazing farm shops in Europe! We were also named one of the Top Ten Destination UK Farmshops in BBC Good Food Magazine – and the only one from Scotland!
