Situated just 2.5 miles from Peebles town centre on the B7062, the gardens are open seven days a week throughout the year. Occupying a beautiful position on the River Tweed, they are surrounded by magnificent hills, and planted with a wide variety of mature specimen trees. Within the walled garden are greenhouses, herbaceous borders, many unusual species of shrubs, laburnum arches and an enchanting rose garden. A further 15 acres of wild garden features delightful woodland and burnside walks.
Also on site is the fabulous Tweed Valley osprey viewing centre, bait- and fly-fishing ponds, putting green, children’s corner, plant sales, plus the excellent Garden Cafe and gift shop. We also have a private two-mile stretch on the River Tweed for fly fishing.
Please see website for opening times and further details.
