Glede Knowe is a large, modern house set in an acre of landscaped gardens, with wonderful views to the hills beyond. Established as a guest house in 2007, and now under new ownership, we offer flexible, peaceful, comfortable and welcoming accommodation, freshly-cooked Scottish or continental breakfasts, plus superb service and attention to detail. Our aim is not only to continue to deliver the high standards expected of a 4 Star guest house, but to make it even better!
Our seven rooms are spacious and furnished to the highest of standards. Most are south facing with fantastic views. We have excellent facilities for road cyclists, mountain bikers, walkers, fishermen and golfers, with secure storage for fishing rods and golf clubs, racking for 12 bikes, a power washer, drying area, maintenance space and laundry facilities. Glede Knowe is also an ideal centre for touring the Border castles, museums and gardens, or a visit to Edinburgh (less than an hour away by car).
