A large Scottish domestic garden on the grand scale
Occupying a beautiful position on the River Tweed, Kailzie Gardens are surrounded by magnificent hills, and planted with a wide variety of mature specimen trees. Within the walled garden are greenhouses, herbaceous borders, many unusual species of shrubs, laburnum arches and an enchanting rose garden. 15 acres of wild garden features woodland and burnside walks.
Osprey viewing centre - new for 2010 - larger live screens, new species on camera including nesting herons, new wildlife displays. Free for Kids - no Booking required. Join us for the launch of the new RSPB Wildlife Explorers Group at our Easter family event on Sunday 4th April.
2010 dates: Open Sunday 4th April, closes 31st August. Open 10am- 5pm daily.
Cost £3 per adult, children free but MUST be accompanied.
Large groups and school visits etc also catered for.
Restaurant and gift shop. Newly opened bait pond. 18 hole putting green. Includes Interpretive Centre. Snack & light lunch refreshments available. Dogs allowed (on lead). Public toilet facilities available.
