New arrival in Innerleithen

There is a new arrival on the accommodation scene in Innerleithen and it’s a wee gem!

Backcroft, run by Bob and Lesley Foster, is a new boutique Bed and Breakfast housed in a lovely 200 year old former coach house in Chapel Street, right in the  centre of Innerleithen. The old and the new come together really well to form the perfect holiday destination.

Situated opposite the Memorial Hall it is perfect for music festival and concert goers  as well as those keen to check out local produce at the Horticultural Show and Craft Fairs.

If, like thousands of others, you are arriving in Innerleithen on your bike, Backcroft can offer you secure storage and Radox for your bath!!

Breakfast is refectory style and can be as simple as toast and jam (Backcroft home made bread and preserves of course) or as mega as the full Scottish; you choose which. With a little bit of notice, porridge and smoked fish will be served.

If the weather is nice why not take your coffee outside into the garden and sit beneath the plum tree?

Backcroft has three rooms, The Red, The Gold and The Blue.

The Red Room boasts a king size bed and large en suite. The Blue Room has double bed, lovely ensuite and a view of Cleikum Hill. The Gold Room , or family room, has a double and a single bed and a private bathroom with bath and shower.
