This area of Scotland also includes 2 independent micro breweries, one at Broughton (try a pint of Exciseman's 80/- or The Reiver while in the area) and one at Traquair (try a bottle of House Ale, Traquair Jacobite Ale, Bear Ale and The Laird's Liquor).
