Situated in the old walled garden the Cottage Restaurant is open for lunches and teas during Traquair's normal opening hours.

Winner - Best Light Lunch or Snack Meal, Best Tastes Competition 2004; Highly Commended - Scottish Healthy Choices Award, Best Tastes Competition 2004; Runner up for Best Snack Meal in the Borders 2003, it is renowned for its delicious soups and superb home baking.
