Robert Smail’s Printing Works Gift Shop is happy to announce two special events to get you in the mood for the festive season…
Shopping after dark
Friday 27 November from 6pm − 9pm.
In response to requests for us to open for late night shopping and as a thank you to our loyal customers and supporters, we are opening on Friday 27 November from 6pm until 9pm. All customers will be greeted with mulled wine and mince pies.
Robert Smail’s Printing Works Gift Shop stocks lots of special gifts, including printed stationery, notecards, calendars and an expanded range of National Trust for Scotland products. The shop sells a wide range of printed letterpress goods (including the famous St. Ronan’s Calendar) which are unique and exclusive to Robert Smail’s and Innerleithen.
Get crafty for Christmas

Drop in activity for all the family
It's the giving that matters, you have bought the perfect present but how do you make it extra special to those people who really matter?  Why not make your own wrapping paper, gift bags, tags and cards at Robert Smail's Printing Works Gift Shop?
At this event we are providing ideas and all the materials, for you and your family to make your own Christmas packaging. You can stop by and try one thing or stay for longer and do more… the choice is yours! Staff from Smail’s will be on hand with lots of great ideas, some of which you will be able to reproduce at home… Grown ups can shop uninterrupted whilst the wee ones get crafty or you can join in too!
