Historical Walk

Take a walk to Newark Castle and Slain Men’s Lea with Military Historian Olivier Hofer and hear about the battle of Philiphaugh and its effects on the lands and people of the Border area.  This is a walk which, whilst not too demanding, involves covering quite a distance and may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties or families with pushchairs.

The walk leaves from the Visitors Centre and is included in the price of entry to the Estate
