The first in our autumn series, Scottish Bat Officer Anne Youngman from the Bat Conservation Trust will be giving a talk in our theatre, followed by a walk on the estate to help us learn more about bats at Bowhill.  Refreshments on arrival are included.

Take a walk to Newark Castle and Slain Men’s Lea with Military Historian Olivier Hofer and hear about the battle of Philiphaugh and its effects on the lands and people of the Border area.  This is a walk which, whilst not too demanding, involves covering quite a distance and may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties or families with pushchairs.
