  • The premier Highland Games in the Scottish Borders takes place in the spectacular surroundings of Hay Lodge Park, Peebles. For this 47th year of the games, events include a pipe band competition, traditional heavy events, Highland dancing competition, whisky tasting, haggis hurling (our favourite!), loads of stalls, fairground rides, plus great food and drink. Chieftain's Parade begins from the Tontine Hotel, Peebles at 10.45am.
